Mathematical Modelling

RED have extensive track record and capability in mathematical modelling.  This includes our CIRSIUM Wargame Land Wargaming Development and also modelling of other mathematically complex scenarios such as missile intercepts.

The video below shows a high-fidelity simulation of two Air to Air Missiles being launched from an airborne platform.  The aerodynamic stability derivatives which drive the calculations are representative of the Sparrow missile.  However the model is completely configurable such that any missile can be simulated.  The model is also extensible to any number of platforms, missiles and targets. The missiles are modelled in six degrees of freedom, however this can be limited to improve processing speeds if performing Monte-Carlo simulations with limited processing power.  The platform and target behaviour can also be modified to include representative air to air manoeuvres and tactics.
