In October 2021, RED Scientific joined the “Decarbonising Ports & Harbours” Innovation Network. The overarching objective of the network is to raise the profile of the critical part that ports and harbours need to play in maritime transport’s transition to net zero by 2050 and accelerate this transition by giving clear direction. The network is part of Innovate UK’s Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) and funded by the UK government.

Since joining the network, RED has participated in the solution road-mapping process, helping the industry to understand the various science, technologies and non-technological solutions available to stakeholders.
