RED celebrates its 33rd birthday!

RED Scientific are proud to be celebrating our 33rd birthday!

RED started life in 1987 as the Defence Division of the software company R.E.D. Computing, based in New Malden. In 1990, the management team achieved a buy-out of the division and RED Scientific Ltd (RED) was born. Originally based in Midhurst, West Sussex, RED moved to 1 Oriel Court, Alton, Hampshire in October 1998.

The RED of today has a renewed emphasis on in-house technical capability and the development of research and technical project teams. This has resulted in our opening further offices in Knaresborough North Yorkshire, St.Albans Hertfordshire and in central Bristol.

You can find out more about some of our key staff and close associates on the RED Team page.

We continue to maintain a thriving Associate Network that includes UK Universities, other SME organisations and about 600 active individual associates. RED concentrates on winning and supporting Frameworks and other routes to market together with the major EU and UK research programmes, which produce the vast majority of our business opportunities.

If you wish to register as a RED Associate or join our network you can complete the forms in the working with RED section of the site.

This year sees a further strengthening of the in-house technical team, renewed focus on our core Operational Research (OR), Systems Engineering & Software and Integrated Logistics Support capabilities and a new focus on secure data, shared working environments and data analytics. You can find out more in the Capabilities section.
