To support our local am-dram society, the Alton Operatic and Dramatic Society (AODS), RED Scientific invited our staff and their families to take a trip to see Legally Blonde: The Musical – starring our very own Darren White!

Founded in 1921, AODS has grown to become a two-shows-a-year society which supports causes in the local community as well as providing first class entertainment for the people of Alton – and a hectic social life for its members!

The show tells the story of sorority girl, Elle Woods – in order to win back her boyfriend, Warner, she is determined to follow him to Harvard Law to prove that she can be the “serious” girlfriend he thinks he needs. Getting to Harvard is the easy part, though, as once there she has to deal with her peers, her professors – and her ex’s new girlfriend. With the help of the friends she makes along the way, Elle has to show Warner – and herself – that there’s more to her than meets the eye!
