Our sandwich-year undergraduate Jo Marshall has returned, this time to develop a web-based dashboard for her MSc project.

Having successfully completed her Physics with Astronomy degree,  Jo is back to undertake her MSc project.  The project, to develop a web-based COVID-19 dashboard, forms the basis for her dissertation, the final part of her MSc in Digital Media with the  University of Portsmouth.

‘I’m delighted we were able to get Jo involved in this’, said RED MD Yvonne Whitley.  ‘Jo was around at just the right time, and it seems a perfect fit for her MSc.’

‘The whole process has worked well’, commented Dr Ian Rowley, Jo’s Supervisor at RED. ‘ We’ve been able to collaborate virtually, with weekly Skype updates, and Jo has been able to work remotely very effectively’.

Jo also seems pleased – ‘It’s just the sort of challenging real-world project I was looking for!’, she said.
