We are delighted to welcome Robert Bristow to RED. Robert has joined us from Atkins, an engineering consultancy, where he was the Strategic Growth Director for Aerospace, Defence & Security. He will be a strategic consultant helping to develop and grow RED’s business.
After a PhD in Fluid Mechanics, Robert has worked for 30 years as a technical consultant in the Aerospace, Defence & Security market, working for SMEs (Smith Associates, TA Group and Advantage Technical Consulting), before Advantage was acquired by Atkins in 2007.
Robert brings a broad range of skills and experience including:
- Strategic and operational analysis, complex systems assessment and investment appraisal.
- Leadership of a 150 strong consultancy business.
- Major business capture and complex commercial negotiations.
- Market assessment, company strategy development, alliancing and M&A.
Robert was a member of the finance committee and council of A|D|S, the Aerospace, Defence & Security trade association.
