RED Scientific are pleased to announce that we have won a 5 year contract with the DE&S Land Equipment Operating Centre (LEOC) for the provision of a MoD Land Equipment Failure Report Analysis Service (LEFRAS) based out of our Bristol offices.

RED have collaborated with Evri Insight (evriINSIGHT), UKFast.Net (UKFast) and TFD Europe (TFDE) to deliver a modern, intuitive service, that makes available high quality failure data to support advanced analysis whilst illuminating opportunities to bring real world safety, availability and cost benefits to supported Land Equipment assets.

The LEFRAS system uses world-class Oracle technologies; by deploying the latest versions of these technologies, the new system delivers advances in core database functionality and performance, and a cleaner, richer, and more intuitive user interface. In a cutting-edge innovation, the system also embeds Microsoft Power BI (Business Intelligence) directly within the Oracle APEX user interface, providing seamlessly-integrated advanced data analysis capabilities, and state-of-the-art visualisations and reports.
